About Us

Off The Grid Adventures is an outdoor based Community Interest Company with a focus on improving wellbeing and social integration through alternative activity delivery. The company has grown significantly over the last 3 years in partnership with the young people, parents & professional’s we work with. Client feedback has been key to the ongoing development of our work and requests for support continue to help us shape our activity programmes.

The company relaunched in February 2020 as a Community Interest Company, “Limited by Guarantee” with updated policies and procedures tailored to working with a more vulnerable client group. This significant structural change also brings additional opportunities to work with an increased range of partners & funders to help us engage with more young people.

Our three Directors are all ex local authority Children’s Services staff, with many year’s experience managing and delivering projects for a range of teams including Early Help, Youth Offending, Drug & Alcohol Teams and other voluntary sector services.

We believe that our unique experience working within multi agency teams from across the statutory and voluntary sector along with our in-depth working knowledge of the activity industry, gives us a unique position to successfully deliver engaging, creative and innovative projects for a range of mainstream & vulnerable groups across the North of England.

We deliver a wide range of exciting and inspiring activities from tree climbing, tomahawk throwing and archery through to birthday parties, multi day festivals & overnight camps and expeditions.

Mentoring Projects

Off The Grid staff and partners deliver a range of mentoring and support programmes for some of the most vulnerable young people in our communities. We use a range of traditional youth work and issue based approaches to actively engage and support young people in need.
